Go Succeed Focus Group - Social Economy Business

Go succeed is a ‘catch all’ service that meets the needs of many, including social 
enterprise. However, it is recognised that social enterprises rely on volunteers with a 
passion and skill set to steer the strategic direction. Further challenges are
presented in the current climate with limited access to funding sources, retaining 
staff, and achieving financial self-sustainability. Operating and sustaining a social
enterprise business requires consideration in a diverse range of areas.  Ards and 
North Down Borough Council is seeking to understand Social Economy issues for
which it may develop tailored support.

Who should attend:

This event is open to any employee, volunteer or Board member of a social enterprise, or any person thinking of starting a social enterprise (over age of 16).
